Liposuction contours the body and can also be used for other procedures. Liposuction is a technique that can be used to remove unwanted fat deposits from various parts of the body. The most common locations of such fat deposits are the upper arms, abdomen, buttocks, hips, inner and outer thighs, inner knees, but also the chin and neck.
Liposuction cannot replace a weight loss diet, but is a method of removing localized fat deposits that do not respond to diet or exercise. A firm and elastic skin is an advantage to achieve a good final result. A loose, already sagging skin is very difficult to adapt to the new body contour and may require additional corrections and tightening (surgical removal of excess skin). Liposuction is also not a treatment for "cellulite". In the first consultation we will examine your skin condition and determine which fat deposits are suitable for liposuction. We also discuss alternative methods of improving the body contour, such as a tummy tuck, and possible combinations of different procedures.
